my name is Dave Ash, Cert Ed, RMA, DipHyp.

I have been involved in therapies, managing care services, teaching and providing consultation to health & social care and nursing staff for over 25 years.

Some of the companies that I deliver training to include major NHS trusts, local authorities, care homes and private contracts. I specialise in and write bespoke training packages in the Management of Challenging Behaviours, Management Violence & Aggression, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Dementia Awareness, plus Addiction & PTSD. The courses are designed to provide the most effective therapeutic care possible, using various interventions.

I first developed an interest in Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy over 25 years ago.  And after I suffered a life threating medical emergency which was eventually diagnosed as too much stress, brought on by trying to balance my young family, being self employed and my hectic work life (which included traveling all over the country).  I was eventually prescribed medication, which I did take at first, but I also researched other forms of treatment and thankfully Clinical Hypnotherapy was the answer.

After receiving treatment, I decided to train as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and several years later I set up ‘Hypnotherapy North West’, as this developed I decided to move into an office and set up a practice in Southport, Merseyside (on Lord Street).
