Liz Sharpe has worked in community mental health since 1996, for charities and not for profit. Her last role was as Area Manager for Mental Health, responsible for 165 clients across 15 contracts. She became a full time hypnotherapist and counsellor in 2016 running a busy practice in Essex.
Liz recently spent 6 weeks in St Lucia setting up outreach programmes in schools, workplaces and hospitals. The jury is still out as to whether it counts as work when it is in the Caribbean!! Liz holds 3 contracts to deliver support within the NHS – group based sessions for cancer patients, 1:1 sessions for cardiac patients and families and works as a Hospital Manager, reviewing patients held under section.
Liz holds a degree in psychology, diploma in person centred counselling and is a hypnotherapist and Advanced BWRT practitioner. In addition to seeing clients, Liz runs training and education sessions for therapists and members of the public on mental health and techniques ,
